Gerald Lanza Inc. provides a broad range of design services for both residential and commercial spaces including full interior design and decoration, architectural consultation, and contractor management and oversight services.

Gerald prides himself on the fact that he only takes on projects where he can be sure he has the time to pay personal attention to each – never delegating design work to others. 

Whether decorating a single room or a penthouse apartment, a cottage or a mansion, Gerald has shown the ability to adapt to differing lifestyles, designs and budgets, always with the same sense of commitment and passion no matter the project size. This commitment, paired with his reputation for being accessible and responsive to his clients, is why so many are ‘repeat’ clients and most new clients are received through recommendation. 

From co-ops to condos and townhouses in New York City, to charming country retreats, or beach homes in the exclusive Hamptons, Gerald has been a key advisor to his clients in their property choices. His design talent, understanding of the real estate market and his great ability to see and explain the potential for a property has led to many clients’ final decisions on their property purchases. 

Gerald’s design and decoration career spans more than 25 years during which he has worked with designers hailing from some of the most prestigious design firms in the industry such as Parish-Hadley and McMillen Inc. Wanting to add his own personal touch to his projects, he branched out on his own 20 years ago and has never looked back. While based in Manhattan, he services clients around the country and the world.
